Barbara is a qualified coach and leadership development specialist who has worked extensively with leaders at all levels and across a range of industry sectors. Her early career in the commercial sector combined with experience working in the area of occupational psychology has provided a deep understanding of how to most effectively develop management and leadership capabilities.
As a coach and in leadership development programmes she is concerned with supporting changes that will be lasting and make a real difference. In her coaching she draws on a broad range of coaching tools and techniques to suit the individual and the specific coaching goals but ultimately believes it is the skills and nature of the relationship established that are key to success. She combines being supportive and empathetic with an appropriate degree of challenge and goal focus.
As well as running and designing face to face programmes, she has worked extensively in the area of distance and online learning and has designed e learning programmes as well as provided blended solutions for delivering learning.
