Clarendon Academy Introduces New Leadership Award to honour the work of Steve Thompson-Martyn, Director at Career Directed Solutions.
We are proud to announce that our own Steve Thompson-Martyn has recently been honoured for his significant work with Wiltshire based Clarendon Academy.
Steve was a Parent Governor of Clarendon for many years, Chair of Governors from 2011 – 2013 and is currently a trustee of The Education Fellowship.
Clarendon Academy has received two successive ‘outstanding’ OFSTED gradings for leadership and management in 2012 and 2014 under the guidance of Steve. It was deemed fitting therefore that a leadership award in the name of Steve Thompson-Martyn would be introduced.
Principal Mark Stenton said “Leadership and employability are a major focus for Clarendon. We want all our young people to be prepared for successful futures, and, to achieve that you need strong characteristics. This award is for those students who have shown real resilience and a commitment to achieving for themselves and others.”
“In addition to leading Clarendon to the level of excellence that we are now achieving as well as increasing the standing the Academy has in the local area and throughout the Education Fellowship, Steve Thompson-Martyn has been of great personal support as a leadership mentor and continues to be a true friend to Clarendon.”
Steve provides leadership and management expertise to many large UK organisations and this award provides further substantiation to our customers that they are receiving first-rate consulting expertise with Career Directed Solutions.
