A team is not a group of people who work together.
A team is a group of people who trust each other.
Numerous demands, priorities and new innovations to implement can lead to a team feeling out of control.
Our High Performing Team Behaviours practice supports teams to form, re-engage and re-energise by exploring what great teams look like and coaching them to create their own reality – defining the behaviours they want to consistently demonstrate.
One of our ‘go-to’ models is Patrick Lencioni – The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team. We use this model to get the team to create a baseline of their performance and compare it against these five behaviours.
Having created a snapshot of the current reality they then get to explore and define the team behaviours and actions they want to commit to – creating a team charter.
“My CDS coach has helped me understand many issues that were affecting my work and personal life to the point now where I am much happier and delivering results I didn’t think were possible. She is practical and resourceful as well as caring and inspiring and I would, without hesitation, recommend her to help anyone who was looking for coach.”Senior Programme Manager – Energy Sector
“As a leader of the business, I have found it very useful to discuss thoughts and issues with my coach and obtain a different perspective from someone who has no knowledge of the organisation and a different business background. To be able to do this in an open and confidential way has been refreshing and enabled me to look at thinks differently and focus on some key issues.”Managing Director – Asset Finance Sector
“The opportunity to discuss work and performance with a truly independent person has been invaluable – I really cannot stress that enough. Operational pressures within the business mean that our internal focus is incredibly short-term – my coach was able to help me look outside this. I would certainly recommend CDS to anyone looking for professional coaching services”Plant Manager – Manufacturing Sector
